The building of Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatory, former music school, located at 8-10, Griboedov St., was built in 1901-1904, according to the project of the Polish architect, Alexander Szymkiewicz. Since 1917, the Tbilisi State Conservatory was housed in the building of the music school. The building is of an eclectic style, angular in plan. The building is built of bricks and covered with decorative plaster. Elements of Renaissance-Baroque architecture are used in the decoration of the main facade - high pilasters of the Corinthian order, which unite the two floors of the building, triangular window pediments, decorative cornice. The main facade of the building, which faces Griboedov Street, is distinguished by its simplicity and monumentality.
