The winery located at 1, V. Petriashvili St. was built in 1896 by the Russian architect, Al. Ozerov. Al. Ozerov received a special education in Odessa and studied the technology of building cellars. It is on this principle that the cellars of the winery were built in Tsinandali and Tbilisi, where the temperature is fourteen degrees at any time of the year. Stylistically, the building is eclectic, both traditional Georgian and Western European architectural motifs are used here.
