D.Chonkadze Street

The building located at 11/13, Chonkadze St. is distinguished by its historical, artistic and cultural values. The building is one of the unique and interesting oriental-style buildings of the end of the 19th century, where the decoration with Persian decorative elements has been preserved in an authentic form. The building has many values, both artistically and historically. Its construction, functional load and stages of transformation are very diverse and loaded with content. The fact that the building was owned by the Iranian ambassador Mirza Reza Khan at the end of the 19th century and housed the Persian consulate had a great impact on the architecture and decoration style of the building.
