The building located at 52, D. Agmashenebeli Ave. is outstanding both in terms of artistic-architectural and memorial significance. In 1851-1852, the famous Russian writer Lev Tolstoy lived and worked in this house for five months; and in 1892-1893, Georgian Writer and public figure, Egnate Ninoshvili. This two-story building is an early example of architectural eclecticism in the urban fabric of Tbilisi; It dates back to the middle of the 19th century and offers a classicist facade of eclectic tendencies created with motifs characteristic of Islamic architecture. The price solution creates an orderly, clearly divided composition. A large-scale balcony completely occupies the central area of the second floor and attracts attention with its well-formed, architecturally sound composition. Openings of different configurations are decided with motifs characteristic of Islamic architecture, in particular, the light windows of the second floor are replaced by the paired windows brought out in the lancet arches of the first floor, and on top of them, a wedge-shaped decorative arch is placed as a divider between the floors. The house has two entrances, from the side of the street - an entrance cell located on the left edge of the building and a walled gate next to it. Like the old Tbilisi tradition, from the yard side, the building originally had an inner yard open with wooden balconies; Today, only a part of it has survived. The building located at 52, Davit Agmashenebeli Avenue is an early and unique example of an eclectic synthesis characteristic of an old Tbilisi residential house of the middle of the 19th century.
