Information in details
The building located at 131-132, Agmashenebeli Avenue dates back to the end of the 19th century and is one of the significant objects in the development of the street. The richly decorated eclectic style facade is symmetrically divided by door-window openings, plastic decoration is concentrated around it, mainly baroque architectural motifs: garlands, plant and geometric figures or ornaments. The entrance of the building, where the curved openwork metal staircase attracts attention is worth noting. This building contains all the traditional components of the spatial organization of a Tbilisi residential house; According to the local tradition, the European-style facade of the house is replaced by an inner courtyard, invisible from the street, where, despite later interventions and remodeling, a certain part of the wooden balcony is still preserved.
