Information in details
The owners of the house located at 121, Agmashenebeli Street were originally the German Forer brothers, who intended to build their own three-story house. For this, they invited the architect Alexander Ozerov, who designed the building in 1910. From the end of the 19th century, the Forer brothers led the largest company not only in the Caucasus, but also in the entire Russian Empire. The Forers owned enterprises of wine, brandy, beer, mills, horse farms, trading houses and shops. They had trading houses and shops in big Russian cities as well. Their company sent products to Western European countries through Black Sea ports. The richly decorated house also has a town planning function, it is located on the corner of two streets and largely shapes them.
