Information in details
The two-story residential house built with old Georgian bricks, located at 33, Agmashenebeli Avenue, dates back to the end of the 19th century. The elongated volume of the building with the Latin "L" plan develops in the depth of the yard, and it comes out with a narrow facade on the side of the avenue. The five-window composition of the facade bears the signs of the classicist style, the main artistic-architectural motif of which is the sandrics with the image of a woman's head and the Corinthian pilasters. According to the tradition of Tbilisi residential houses, this building also has two different facades; The European-style facade, on the side of the inner courtyard, invisible to the street, is extended by an open gallery-balcony, an integral element of the old Georgian dwelling - arranged on the entire perimeter of the courtyard facade.
